BrakeBEE is our new wireless solution for brake testing of rail vehicles in accordance with UIC 543-1 and VPI Module 7. The system uses wireless pressure modules and sensors, significantly reducing cabling requirements and setup times along the vehicle.

What makes BrakeBEE truly unique is its combination with our ForceBEE brake force measurement system. For the first time, brake pressure and the actual contact force within the braking system – but without mechanical manipulation – can be measured simultaneously during a single, integrated brake test. This direct, real-time correlation provides deeper insights into the interaction between brake pressure and braking force. It creates a valuable basis for condition-based maintenance, more targeted maintenance decisions and extended component lifetimes.
