The ForceBEE Butterfly force measurement sensor for block brakes was specifically designed for the extreme loads of double-block brake linings with very high pressing forces up to 35kN. Due to its preload, the sensor adapts perfectly to the contour of the wheel and, thanks to the patented technology, can also compensate for lateral forces. The sensor has undergone extensive testing by SNCF and AIF, and the measurement results have been successfully validated.
